Personal Trainers As a Complete Health & Fitness Company

How to Work Less (and make MORE Money) as a Personal Trainer -- Part 1

By: Ryan Lee

As a personal trainer, your income relies almost 100% on training clients one-on-one. And with a strong client base, you can earn a very nice income.

However, if the only thing you're doing is private individual training, you are leaving a lot of potential income on the table. Not to mention, you're only getting paid for the actual hours you train. So if a good client goes away for 2 weeks, you now have to make up for that lost income.

I'd estimate that 95% of personal trainers don't fully understand the true power of 'leverage' and have all of their time, effort and energy tied up with only training, to find more clients. However, as I'll show you in this series, you can see a significant rise in your income by working 'smarter, not harder'.

The BIG Picture

If you truly want to transition from a 'personal trainer' to a 'fitness entrepreneur', you need to first look at the big picture.

You have to realize that you're in the 'health and fitness industry' and personal training is only one component of your career and expertise.

That is a very powerful concept and one that cannot be overlooked. Read the sentence again:

" Personal training is only one component of your career and expertise "
Once you begin to look at yourself as not just a 'trainer' but, in fact, a complete health and fitness company, then you can start to open up to new opportunities.

You can create your own information products (books, DVD, CDs, manuals, etc.) for your niche within the industry. You can run your own profitable seminars and workshops. How about training clients on the Internet or on the phone? You can have your articles published or become a consultant for other fitness companies.

And each of these opportunities can bring in addition revenue without training more clients. In fact, you can earn a lot more income once you begin to master these other revenue streams.

The point is, when you label yourself simply as a 'personal trainer' you cannot look outside the box and that's when you become stuck on the same path.

"Secrets To A Six Figure Income In Fitness"

O.K., now that you're certified, how are you going to get a higher return on that investment?

Want to be financially independent in your chosen field of fitness instruction?

On this idea filled DVD, Ryan Lee reveals many secrets on how to create multiple income streams by creating your own "information products", how to market your business with little or no cash, how to open your own facility and much more. A must for your self-improvement library.   more

The Fitness Entrepreneur's 'Spoke of Success'

Imagine a spoke on a bicycle wheel that spins out from the middle. In the middle of this spoke is your niche market or specialization within the fitness industry. It can be training seniors, athletes, kids, diabetics, new mothers, etc.

If you look below, once you find your niche, you can begin to expand beyond personal training into new and exciting entrepreneurial ventures:
